Laura Lata, ANP-BC

Family Medicine/Primary Care

Laura was born and raised in Connecticut, where she began building her foundation in nursing. She completed her LPN program in Vermont in 1980, and later attended the University of Connecticut, earning her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 1987. Laura continued her academic journey at the University of Connecticut, receiving her Master’s in Nursing in 2004 and graduating with honors as a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Her advanced degree specializes in Adult Primary Care, and she holds a National Certification as an Emergency Nurse.

After relocating to Tennessee in 2008, Laura and her family spent a decade in Idaho before returning to Tennessee, where she is happy to be closer to loved ones. Outside of her professional pursuits, Laura enjoys a variety of hobbies, including bicycling, hiking, reading, home decorating, painting, candle making, baking, gardening, and collecting antiques.
